FITBIT COACH

Fitbit Coach is video workout application for iPhone, Android, web, and Fitbit device applications. Fitbit Coach customizes workouts for users based on their feedback and Fitbit tracker activity.

After each exercise, users provide feedback on whether each move was too difficult, too easy, or just right. Fitbit Coach utilizes this information to create personalized fitness programs to help users reach their fitness goals, and continues to tailor workout recommendations as users progress on their journey. Each time users come back to the app, they are served a new workout session that is customized specifically for their current fitness level and modified based on recent tracker activity. If users went for a recent bike ride, the curriculum algorithm might recommend a session focused on your arms so that you can go easy on your legs.

The release of the redesigned and rebranded Fitbit Coach app was a large scale and complex initiative, involving integrated coordination between several departments across multiple programs. At the onset of the project, a core team of product designers, project managers, and discipline leads collaborated to outline the product vision, requirements, and specifications.

A glimpse of video village on set at the Fitstar moves production. Over 600 setups of exercise moves were captured by over 17 models on a rigid timeline. Precision and form were paramount, thus requiring a team of experts to advise our fitness trainers.

The initiative of rebranding Fitstar to Fitbit Coach required an overhaul of the application interface, rebuilding of the dynamic video player platform, and several hours of 4k multi-camera-angle video footage.  We set out to film over 600 exercise move sequences performed by male and female trainers against a brand new set, designed and constructed in line with our brand vision. A production crew of over 30 members and a talent roster of 17 models were sourced and engaged, executing on a rigid set of deliverables over an ambitious 7-day shoot schedule.  An immense volume of workout instructions were developed in line with a complex curriculum grid, and this content was then translated in 4 languages and recorded by 10 voiceover artists. Much of this process required the simultaneous development of internal proprietary tools to process, mark up, and implement the content within the Fitbit video platform.

As part of the cross-program execution of Fitbit Coach, our team was responsible for leading the strategic and logistical dissemination of release requirements, product knowledge and branding materials for execution across the organization and Fitbit product ecosystem. A large fleet of teams were reliant upon our team to drive the deployment of key components, including customer support, sales, press, marketing, group health, device, and ecommerce properties. Furthermore, the update of Fitbit Coach was a major piece of the software offering presented by Fitbit at CES 2017, thus requiring a large scale and concerted effort to develop supporting marketing collateral against a firm and high profile launch date.

ABC RISING STAR

ABC launched a new reality television singing competition, Rising Star. The program is based on the concept of "Raising the Wall".

Unidentified contestants begin performing behind a screen called "The Wall". With start of performance, viewers begin voting via the show's mobile app and contestants see random photos of voters in their favor displayed on The Wall. A meter ranging to 100% measures positive votes; after 70% the wall is raised and the contestant goes to the next round of the competition.

To support the marketing push behind the series premiere, ABC approached Livefyre to concept and design a social engagement campaign with our partners at Twitter. Playing on the concept of "Raising the Wall", viewers were called to tweet a selfie to @abcRisingStar to be entered into a sweepstakes. Livefyre built a mechanism which collected the selfies, superimposed their photo upon a dynamic visualization of the The Wall used on the show, and tweeted the custom graphic back to the participant. The amount of selfie submissions each day would increase a dynamic meter on the background graphic. Once The Wall has been raised, special content from the show and judges would be unlocked and tweeted directly to participants.

PINE-SOL

Pine-Sol approached Fluid to research the shifting landscape of their consumer base, devise a digital strategy based on these findings, and to redesign a responsive website as part of a brand refresh initiative. As Pine-Sol's digital agency of record and trusted strategic partner, we played a critical role in influencing the marketing roadmap and vision.

The scope of our year-long engagement included intensive marketing and consumer research via in-field interviews and surveys. We assisted with the formation of a marketing plan and documentation of consumer profiles based on data collected. This laid the groundwork for our approach of the site redesign, as we set out to construct a fully responsive build. Our social and content strategy augmented these plans, followed through with production of assets and a measurement strategy.

At least 5 vendors were involved in this initiative; our team was the central hub of communication, directing production and ensuring alignment with the project plan.

PETCARERX

Our mission was to overhaul the PetCareRx brand, revitalizing the identity and site of the leading online retailer of pet products. We set out to relaunch the brand as the go-to resource for pet wellness, creating a full-service, one-stop destination for pet parents.

Personalization, automation, and a simplified user experience formed the cornerstones of our approach. The site personalizes content based on user actions and responses, tailoring product recommendations, expert advice, and connections to local service providers. We revamped the experience and mechanisms of an outdated loyalty program, increasing customer retention and referrals.
